My work is a continuing examination of personal and cultural histories, and the implications of the past upon the present. The paintings, video, sound and installation work are investigations of time passing; of what we gather, what we leave behind and how this ultimately defines us as people and as a culture. The work holds no nostalgia for things from the past  now lost; rather, my work is about time itself: it’s unfolding and overwhelming nature. And it’s about our lives and how we move through time and traverse landscapes.

I look for tremendous beauty in simple things.
