Pat Arnao is a New York City born and based artist. Drawing from the Arte Povera and EcoCentrist-Feminist traditions of sustainability, interconnectedness and disruption, she uses unconventional and often reclaimed materials, addressing issues of overconsumption and environmental discord in her practice. Themes of loss, regeneration and transformation are woven throughout the work.

MANIFEST, a triptych constructed between 2023-2024 in the Joshua Tree National Park in California,
imagines the desert as a once watery place by creating nautical metaphors amongst the stone.
