Pat Arnao, a New York City born and based artist, creates work that explores the passage of time and the liminal spaces we inhabit. Drawing from Arte Povera and Ecofem traditions of disruption and sustainability, Arnao reclaims and reuses materials, frequently incorporating them from one project into another, addressing issues of overconsumption and overproduction. Themes of loss, regeneration and transformation are woven through the work.

MANIFEST, a triptych constructed between 2023-2024 in the Joshua Tree National Park in California,
imagines the desert as a once watery place by creating nautical metaphors amongst the stone.

DISPATCH, part two the triptych, is pictured here.
