MANIFEST (triptych, 2023–2024)

Constructed in Joshua Tree National Park, MANIFEST reimagines the arid desert as an ancient seabed through an
intervention of nautical metaphors in the landscape.

Arnao’s practice utilizes unconventional and reclaimed materials to confront issues of overconsumption and environmental discord. She works with themes of loss, regeneration, and transformation.
